Golden Gate Club

Built in 1949, the Golden Gate Club was once the enlisted men's service club and the site of several historic treaty signings. Today, it is a popular celebration and meeting venue on the Main Post, the cultural heart of the park. The graceful Spanish Colonial Revival building offers a spectacular setting for reception rentals every day, year round (except for certain national holidays). Read

Presidio Officers' Club

For decades, military officers gathered with their colleagues and families at the Presidio Officers' Club. Today, new generations are invited to host special celebrations, weddings, and meetings in this beautiful and historic venue. The Officers' Club features the stunning Ortega Ballroom, with an outdoor terrace offering panoramic views of San Francisco Bay. The open-air Hardie Courtyard is perfect for small gatherings, receptions, and exhibits. At the center of the Officers' Club is Moraga Hall, with a large historic fireplace anchoring its living room setting. The hall is often used for pre-event gatherings. The Officers' Club's proximity to the Chapel of Our Lady, Presidio Chapel, and the Inn at the Presidio make it an extra-convenient location to plan a special occasion in the park. Read more about the Presidio Officers' Club venues here.

Log Cabin

Built in 1937, the historic Log Cabin was originally a non-commissioned officers' club. Located within the Fort Scott campus along the Presidio's western shore, not far the Golden Gate Bridge, this rustic cabin with a Spanish red-tile roof is one of the park's most popular venues. The large lawn area is ideal for wedding ceremonies or receptions, and offers panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline. Read more about the Log Cabin here.

Presidio Golf Course

A more recreational event space is the Presidio Golf Course, one of the oldest courses on the West Coast. It has hosted Theodore Roosevelt, Charles Schulz, and Joe DiMaggio, among others. The clubhouse's vaulted ceilings and terrace make it a popular choice for intimate events. Read more about the Presidio Golf Course  here.

The Presidio's dining establishments offer private dining experiences that may be combined with larger venue functions. Arguello's Mexican-themed cuisine features a contemporary bar and a large patio, as well as San Francisco's oldest dining room, The Anza Room. The Commissary offers award-winning chef Traci Des Jardin's noted California cuisine in a historic former mess hall on the Main Post. Des Jardin also curates the menu at TRANSIT, the Presidio's casual eatery which offers catering options as well as private dining. Additional options include Sessions at the Presidio and the Presidio Social Club. For more information on dining within the Presidio, including catering options, click here.
