The Oracle NetSuite Open Squash Championship returns to San Francisco's Embarcadero Plaza, Sept. 27 - 30. Mark your calendars for for the best in international squash.

Professional Squash Returns to San Francisco with the Oracle NetSuite Open 2019

World class professional sport returns to the San Francisco Bay Area with the Oracle NetSuite Open Squash Championship on the San Francisco Bay waterfront. Offering six days of premier international competition, Sep. 24-30, the Oracle NetSuite Open is one of the top 10 professional tournaments by prize money on the global Professional Squash Association World Tour.

Tournament Information

The squash championship tournament features fields of 24 men and 24 women, competing for a record $242,000 total purse, split evenly between the men's and women's divisions. One of the world tour's more prestigious events, the championship annually showcases many of the top international players.

The Men's field is led by 2017 World Champion and 2017 Oracle NetSuite Open Champion Mohamed Elshorbagy (EGY), currently World No. 2. Other top seeds include current World No. 3 Tarek Momen (EGY), 2018 Tournament of Champions champion Simon Roesner (GER), 2018 British Open champion Miguel Rodriguez (COL) and 2018 El Gouna champion Marwan Elshorbagy (EGY).

The Women's division features eight of the top nine players in the world including recent World Champions Raneem ElWelily (EGY) and Nour Elsherbini (EGY), 2017 Tournament of Champions champion Camille Serme (FRA), 2017 US Open champion Nour El Tayeb (EGY), 2018 Hong Kong Open champion Joelle King (NZ), two-time Oracle NetSuite Open champion Sarah-Jane Perry (ENG) and American No. 1 Amanda Sobhy.

Before the championship in San Francisco, a round of 32 matches will be played at the Squash Zone in Redwood City and the Bay Club Redwood Shores. The round of 16 men's and women's matches will be played at the Bay Club San Francisco, Olympic Club, and University Club.

Play starts at the state-of-the-art glass court along the Embarcadero on Sep. 27 with quarterfinal matches. The all-glass portable SuiteSuccess Court offers embedded video and LED displays with in-court scoring and replay capability, and a seating capacity of 500 guests per session.

The SuiteSuccess Court will be located on the south lawn of Embarcadero Plaza, located across from the Ferry Building.

The 2019 Oracle NetSuite Open will benefit SquashDrive, a Bay Area after-school youth development program.
