Cable Car Maps

Everyone coming to San Francisco has to take at least one ride on our famous cable cars. We insist! There are three cable car lines that remain in service. Two run north-south and connect Union Square to Fisherman's Wharf, with stops in Chinatown and Russian Hill. One runs east-west, connecting Nob Hill to the Embarcadero. A single adult fare is $8 and can be paid for with a Clipper Card.

Muni Map

Muni is the system of buses and light rail that serves travelers within San Francisco city limits. It also includes the historic E and F Line streetcars. Muni serves every neighborhood, allowing you to move from one side of the city to the other with ease. A single adult fare is $3 and can be paid for with a Clipper Card.

BART Map

BART is the rapid transit system that serves the Bay Area at large. Want to spend time during your stay exploring nearby Oakland and Berkeley, or go even further to Pleasanton or Walnut Creek? BART can get you there. BART can also take you to directly to San Francisco International Airport and Oakland International Airport. Fares are determined by distance traveled, but can all be paid for with a Clipper Card.

Bike Maps

Despite our famous hills, San Francisco is a very bicycle-friendly city. You'll find dedicated and even protected bike lanes in many neighborhoods. If you're up for exploring the city on two wheels, you'll want to get familiar with the bike routes of San Francisco.
