The Fauxgirls! Revue, now in its 16th year, is one of the longest-running drag shows in San Francisco history!This monthly show continues to present San Francisco's finest female impersonators every Second Saturday night, at the exciting Encore Karaoke Lounge, located at 1550 California Street, 2nd Floor, near Polk Street. Ample parking is nearby, with the Bush-Polk parking garage only two blocks away. Seating begins at 730 pm, and the 90-minute show begins at 800 pm. All seating is open, and no reservations are taken, so come early for the best seats! There is a $10 cover charge, with discounts available for groups of 8 or more. Birthday and bachelorette parties are especially welcome! We have been listed by both Yahoo Travel and Huffington Post as one of the "World's 10 Best Drag Shows!" Built in 1922, the Curran has housed some of the biggest productions in theater history and has maintained a reputation over the course of its life as one of the premier live entertainment venues in North America. Now, almost a century after it welcomed its first Bay Area audiences, the Curran is undergoing a major restoration and renovation. Under the curation of eight-time Tony Award winner Carole Shorenstein Hays, the Curran will reopen its 1,600 seat venue in January 2017 with the new mission.
